		Welcome to my corner!!! My name is Stacy Rutherford, and I am your child's counselor. I have been at Kirbyville High School for 2 years, and thank God everyday for the opportunity to serve your student. I attended ETBU, and finished at Lamar University. I obtained my undergraduate in 1997, and completed my Master's in Counseling in 2005. My career dream was to be in this exact position. How blessed I feel!!!


Meeting your Child's needs...
I am here to serve....I am here to help in your student's academic and emotional success. The student's are here to learn, but first they must be emotionally healthy. For a student to achieve success in a classroom, they must be of the right mind set and have stability in their lives. Our teens today are dealing with so many issues and being pulled in so many directions. Please allow me the privilege to aid you in his/her success! At any time you feel I may be of help, please contact me.

		And now.........their academics!!! I am here to guide your student's in picking their schedules and advising what class will, or will not benefit them. There are test dates and practice books I will distribute........we offer PLAN (a practice ACT) and PSAT (a practice SAT). We also set a date for ASVAB, and offer it to the students who truly want to take the test, free of charge. There is also additional information your student may get from me: GPA (grade point average), transcripts, scholarship information, and information on clubs and activities going on in our school. It is a great time to be a WILDCAT and I want to help make your student's time here the very BEST!!!!
