I am Lynnette Causey and have taught 29 years in Kirbyville. My focus will be to help each child achieve and be successful. I teach 8th grade math which includes Pre-Algebra and Algebra. The 8th grade TEKS objectives will be covered in both classes as they are important skills needed and will be tested on the TAKS test. The 8th graders have three chances to pass the test to be promoted to 9th grade. I tutor each morning before school and am available at lunch if necessary. I am also at Wildcat University on Mondays which is a great place for the student to get extra help. Kirbyville Junior High is an exemplary campus and we are striving to keep that status.
