8th grade English is all about continuing to read well and expanding our writing skills to include literary analysis. The objective for the year will be to comprehend a piece of literature, analyze the characters in that piece, and determine the author's purpose for writing that piece. Then we will write using textual proof to prove our opinions about the characters and author's purpose. |
